Memorial Day camping
In the following photos we are at the beach with friends and family. It was cloudy and the wind was COLD. Katelyn was the only one from our family that braved the ocean as she tried to skim board(I think that is what it is called)and by the end she was half wet. We dug holes, built a sand castle and explored caves. It is so nice to be at the ocean!

Jonas suprise
This video is self explanitory. Beth and Grandma bought tickets for the girls to go to the Jonas Brothers concert in Portland and we decided it would be fun to tell them since we were together. We had them sing a Jonas Brothers song and then told them they might sing it better if they heard them in person.
memorial weekend
Ok so I have to remember to put things in backwards so that you see them in the right order.
The photos are in backwards order but we started by walking to lake cleawox. It was like a parade --we walked, rode, and finally made it to the lake where we played in the sand/water, fished(more shots on Newell's blog), and canoed. Then we went to the ocean after lunch and naps. Here it was like an umberella of clouds that just hung there and boy was that wind cold--but NO rain!

OK IT IS EITHER MY BLOG OR YOURS!! I get online to do some updates and what do I do? I get caught up enjoying reading and looking at your blogs! In the future I shall have to decidedly do them separately. I will also only post a few photos. This time I decided to do a photo slide show again and it takes me too long! The first couple are Hannah and Katelyn as students of the month for their classes. Then cousin Hayden's pirate party. Katelyn at last day of gymnastics. Photos of girls and family. Then a bunch of Natalie...Dumping cereal, tepee blankets for dolls, in prayer(naked except a fringe skirt), make-up, and toilet seat on head. Katelyn's lost tooth, Darren with neighbor working on garden, Taylor and a literal cheesy grin, and Natalie finally let us put a ponytail in her hair--it was crazy hair day at school and the girls used so many I guess she just decided .she needed one(or two).

Ok I am sooo excited I figured this out, well Darren helped but just the same it is up. Let me explain it... The first video is suprising our kids, when Darren was going to be put in as counselor at church my parents(who were watching the cousins that weekend)came down for it so we decided not to tell our kids! Those are the BEST surprises!!!! Then comes photos of our once in a lifetime tree--a 9x9 foot ball of a tree.It was soo funny(by the way we did decide not to drive home with it on our car)This tree was chopped to fit into the corner and then anchored and then we trimmed it up underneath and voila a tree fort under the tree for the girls! It was fun and only for 15.00 Then we have some Christmas photos, some with my sisters and parents that visited so we could see them and then some with Grandma Wilhoit who came for Christmas. The next video was just a cute one but what I love is watching natalie when she wants more(moikai-japanese), drops a book on Darren to do sign language. Lastly some photos of painting the girls room. I failed to find the one where Gma Wilhoit is sitting in our loft doing all the trim. Enjoy!
